Please  meet in the staff parking lot behind Bissell Centre Adminstration building (east side of the street)

***Please note this is going to be a convoy style event so that our volunteers are kept safe from frostbite injuries.  We will be pairing up in vehicles with supplies, so if you don't drive you are still welcome to come. ***

Street  team will be handing out food/snacks/water etc. starting downtown at  6pm  Demand will determine Route.  If we have leftovers, there are a few  other places we can go and visit.

**All Street Team volunteers must be able to comfortably walk 3 km.

1. Please dress for the weather
2. Please wear sturdy shoes (no open toes!) - we walk a few kilometres each night.
3. Although masks are no longer mandatory, we are hoping that you will still continue to protect our vulnerable community and wear a mask while you are on duty.
4. Children 16 and over are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.  Anyone under 16 is welcome to ride along in a support vehicle.
5. Partner up with another team member and watch out for each other.
6. Remember that you will be walking through a "harm reduction"  environment.  This means that people could be openly using/injecting  drugs.
7. Please remember to always be respectful
8. All Street Team volunteers must sign the WAIVER before participating in any volunteer activities.
