May 21st, 2021 Clifford and 2 friends passed simultaneously of a drug poisoning.  These men were known to use alcohol and cannabis, but never anything more than that. Their families were devastated with their passing. 

The family was unable to gather to honour their loved ones. As they were part of our unhoused community, they were a part of our Water Warriors family. Some of us gathered with Chubby Cree singers to honour them and sing them home. 

The family has reached out to let us know that they will be gathering and would like to extend the invitation to Water Warriors as a whole. 

If you are able to attend, please wear your Water Warriors t-shirt. If you identify as female and own a ribbon skirt, this is a respectful opportunity to wear it to this ceremony.
