It is getting harder to figure out where to go as there is so many unhoused folks everywhere right now.

This week we decided to do Southside concentrating on Calgary Trail and then moving over to Whitemud Drive. Not sure how we can get to the tent over by Labatts but we have gone into harder to reach areas before

This is the more physical version of Street Team.

You  must be able to hike about 5 km and be prepared for some tricky  inclines.  Ideally you have access to a vehicle in case we want to go to  more than one spot.

We  are hiking in the River Valley looking for encampments.  We will be  pulling a wagon (or two depending on volunteers) filled with backpacks.

**For winter months we will likely be visiting urban encampments (not located in the river valley, but around the city)

The mission is to find out what is needed for the next visit, and to gain the trust of these folks for the future.
