Due to the Social Media "outing" of the unhoused community members east of Beverly Bridge we are going to meet off the Yellowhead highway on Sunday at 1 pm and check in on them and then drive to 50 St and 127 Ave and walk both sides of the Yellowhead highway. You will need a car to access the first meeting spot.

This is the more physical version of Street Team.

You  must be able to hike about 5 km and be prepared for some tricky  inclines.  Ideally you have access to a vehicle in case we want to go to  more than one spot.

We  are hiking in the River Valley looking for encampments.  We will be  pulling a wagon (or two depending on volunteers) filled with backpacks.

**For winter months we will likely be visiting urban encampments (not located in the river valley, but around the city)

The mission is to find out what is needed for the next visit, and to gain the trust of these folks for the future.
