CARE Team Sunday

This weeks event is Christmas Eve day.

We will be riding the rails again, parking at the free lot at Stadium at 11 am and heading south. Dress in layers as planning to hit pedways and may have to go back and forth from heated to non heated environments

Hope you can join us, the more wagons we take the farther we can go. I have 3 bus tickets for adults left and a lot of seniors: child fares left plus donations to purchase more fares if needed.

This is the more physical version of Street Team.

You  must be able to hike about 5 km and be prepared for some tricky  inclines.  Ideally you have access to a vehicle in case we want to go to  more than one spot.

We  are hiking in the River Valley looking for encampments.  We will be  pulling a wagon (or two depending on volunteers) filled with backpacks.

**For winter months we will likely be visiting urban encampments (not located in the river valley, but around the city)

The mission is to find out what is needed for the next visit, and to gain the trust of these folks for the future.
